Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and the egg, mixing until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined; do not overmix.
  6. Fold in the colorful sprinkles, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  7. Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing the cookies about 2 inches apart.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges turn lightly golden.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
