Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish.
  5. Spread the pesto sauce generously over the top and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  6. Optionally, add cherry tomatoes around the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  2. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
