Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare the roasted chicken by rubbing it with salt, pepper, and preferred herbs.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned chicken in a roasting pan and roast for 1 to 1.5 hours, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- While the chicken cooks, peel and chop the potatoes into chunks and boil them in salted water until fork-tender, then drain.
- Add butter and minced garlic to the warm potatoes, mashing until creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a steamer basket, steam the green beans for about 5-7 minutes until they are bright green.
- Chop the romaine lettuce and combine it with croutons and Parmesan cheese. Drizzle with Caesar dressing just before serving.
- Follow the package instructions to prepare the chocolate cake and allow it to cool before frosting.
Serving
- Arrange the roasted chicken on a platter with sides of mashed potatoes and green beans. Serve the Caesar salad on the side and finish with a slice of chocolate cake for dessert.
