  • 1 whole roasted chicken (4-5 lbs) Seasoned with herbs and spices

  • 2 lbs potatoes For mashed potatoes

  • 4 cloves garlic For mashed potatoes
  • 1 lb fresh green beans Trimmed
  • 2 heads romaine lettuce For Caesar salad
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese For Caesar salad
  • 1 pack Caesar dressing For Caesar salad
  • 1 mix chocolate cake mix Or a homemade chocolate cake recipe

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare the roasted chicken by rubbing it with salt, pepper, and preferred herbs.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned chicken in a roasting pan and roast for 1 to 1.5 hours, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  2. While the chicken cooks, peel and chop the potatoes into chunks and boil them in salted water until fork-tender, then drain.
  3. Add butter and minced garlic to the warm potatoes, mashing until creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. In a steamer basket, steam the green beans for about 5-7 minutes until they are bright green.
  5. Chop the romaine lettuce and combine it with croutons and Parmesan cheese. Drizzle with Caesar dressing just before serving.
  6. Follow the package instructions to prepare the chocolate cake and allow it to cool before frosting.
Serving
  1. Arrange the roasted chicken on a platter with sides of mashed potatoes and green beans. Serve the Caesar salad on the side and finish with a slice of chocolate cake for dessert.
