Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound beef (such as sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots) Use fresh or frozen.
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil (vegetable or sesame)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Method

Cooking
  1. Heat the cooking oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
  3. Incorporate the sliced beef; stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until evenly browned.
  4. Add mixed vegetables; stir-fry for an additional 3-5 minutes until they are crisp-tender.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper, tossing to coat everything evenly.
  6. Allow the mixture to cook for another 2-3 minutes for the flavors to meld perfectly.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles for a complete meal.

Notes

Cut the beef against the grain for tenderness. You can use different proteins like chicken, shrimp, or tofu. Add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
