  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Used for sautéing the beef and aromatics.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the beef thinly against the grain.
  2. Marinate the beef in a mixture of soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch for 15-20 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic and grated ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes until browned.
  3. Add broccoli florets and a splash of water, cover, and steam for 3-4 minutes until tender yet bright green.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve hot over a bed of cooked rice.

Notes

For variations, try adding carrots or bell peppers for extra nutrition. You can also replace beef with chicken or tofu. Opt for fresh garlic and ginger for best flavor.
