Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until the meat is fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, seasoning with salt and pepper. Mix well.
Assembly
  1. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
  3. Layer the frozen tater tots on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  2. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
