Ingredients

Noodles
  • 8 oz noodles (e.g., egg noodles or rice noodles)
Beef and Marinade
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly) Use flank steak or sirloin for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free soy sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce For a vegetarian version, substitute with mushroom sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Cooking Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup bell peppers (sliced) Use any variety you prefer.
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Toss everything together so the beef is well coated.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, add vegetable oil and heat it over medium-high. Once it’s hot, add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, usually about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic, sliced bell peppers, and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Add the cooked noodles and drizzle with sesame oil. Toss everything together gently until well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
