  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice For drizzling before serving.

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Rub the spice mixture thoroughly all over the chicken pieces, ensuring every nook and cranny is coated.
  3. Allow the marinated chicken to sit for at least 30 minutes, or for a more intense flavor, marinate for a few hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  5. Place the marinated chicken pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  2. Once cooked, drizzle the chicken with fresh lime juice and garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
