Preparation
- Trim any excess fat from the beef chuck roast and cut it into large chunks for even cooking.

- In your slow cooker, add the remaining butter, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and thyme. Mix well.
- Place the seared beef chunks into the slow cooker, ensuring they are coated with the sauce.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, or until the beef is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
- Once cooked, remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
- Return the shredded beef to the sauce in the slow cooker and stir to combine.
Serving
- Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
