Ingredients

Slime Ingredients
  • 1 cup clear or white school glue
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons contact lens solution (contains boric acid)
  • as needed foam beads or clay (optional) For texture and fun
  • as needed food coloring To create vibrant hues
  • as needed flavors or scents (optional) For an enhanced sensory experience, e.g., vanilla extract

Method

Preparation
  1. Find a clean surface to work on. Lay down some newspaper or paper towels for easy cleanup.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine one cup of glue with one teaspoon of baking soda. Stir until fully blended.
  3. Add a few drops of food coloring to achieve your desired color. If you’re adding scents, mix in a few drops of your chosen flavor.
Mixing
  1. Slowly add two tablespoons of contact lens solution while mixing. This will help the slime form. The mixture will begin to come together and separate from the bowl.
Kneading
  1. Once it starts to form, take it out of the bowl and begin kneading it with your hands to give it that delightful stretchy texture.
  2. If desired, fold in foam beads or clay for extra texture.
Testing and Enjoying
  1. If the slime is too sticky, add a little more contact lens solution until you reach the desired consistency.
  2. Now it’s time to play with your slime! Stretch it and squish it while enjoying the ASMR sounds it produces.

Notes

To enhance the slime experience, experiment with colors and scents. Store slime in airtight containers and refrigerate for longevity.
