- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides evenly with salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet or baking dish over medium heat.
- Place chicken thighs skin side down and cook undisturbed for 5–7 minutes until browned.
- Turn the thighs over and transfer the skillet or dish to the oven.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Allowing the chicken to brown before baking builds flavor. Resting the thighs after cooking helps redistribute juices and improves tenderness.
