Ingredients

For the Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
For the Chicken
  • 500 grams chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 package skewers, soaked in water

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together peanut butter, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, garlic, cumin, and coriander to create a flavorful marinade.
  2. Once well combined, add the chicken strips to the marinade, ensuring they’re fully coated. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight in the refrigerator to enhance the flavors.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium heat, ensuring it is hot enough for a good sear.
  2. Thread the marinated chicken strips onto the soaked skewers carefully, spacing them out to allow even cooking.
  3. Grill the chicken skewers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and have a beautiful golden-brown crust.
Serving
  1. Serve with your choice of dipping sauce, such as peanut sauce or sweet chili sauce, and enjoy the rich flavors!

Notes

For even more intense flavor, marinate the chicken for several hours or overnight. You can use beef, pork, or even tofu for a vegetarian option.
