Ingredients
  

For the chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 pieces eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • as needed Olive oil or cooking spray for baking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for panko breadcrumbs.
Breading
  1. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat in panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  2. Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil or spray with cooking spray.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown, checking for an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  2. Let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

Consider marinating the chicken for additional tenderness. Experiment with seasoning the panko for extra flavor.
