Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme (if using) until it forms a paste.
- Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken breasts.
- Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Slice and serve as desired.
Notes
For more flavor, marinate the chicken in the seasoning for at least an hour. Feel free to add vegetables to the baking sheet for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
