  • 8 pieces Oreo cookies
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

  • to taste chocolate syrup
  • 1 piece extra Oreo cookies for garnish, optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the Oreo cookies into a thick freezer bag and crush them into small pieces using a rolling pin or a food processor.
  2. In a blender, combine the crushed Oreo cookies, milk, and vanilla ice cream. Optionally, add the vanilla extract for a stronger flavor.
  3. Pulse the blender a few times, then blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Add more milk gradually if a thinner consistency is desired.
Serving
  1. Pour the milkshake evenly into two glasses, leaving room for toppings.
  2. Top each glass with whipped cream, drizzle chocolate syrup over the top, and garnish with a whole Oreo cookie.
  3. Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.

Notes

For a thicker milkshake, use less milk. Substitute ice cream with other flavors for a unique twist or add peanut butter for extra richness.
