  • 1 piece lemon, sliced
  • 1 bunch fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 2 pounds mashed potatoes
  • 1 bowl Mixed greens for a fresh salad
  • 1 cake chocolate cake for dessert

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the roast chicken with minced garlic, lemon slices, rosemary, salt, and pepper, rubbing the seasoning under the skin and inside the cavity.
  3. Place the chicken into a roasting pan and roast for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. Steam the green beans until tender yet still crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them with butter, milk, and seasoning.
  6. Assemble the fresh salad using mixed greens and your choice of toppings.

  1. Serve the roasted chicken garnished with fresh herbs and lemon slices.
  2. Serve green beans and mashed potatoes in separate bowls.
  3. Present the salad in a colorful bowl and serve chocolate cake for dessert.
