Ingredients
  

For the Dressing
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar (or rice vinegar, or lemon juice) Choose your preferred acidity flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
For the Salad
  • 14 to 16 ounces romaine leaf lettuce (chopped)
  • 1 cup kalamata olives (sliced)
  • 1 cup pepperoncinis
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 2 cups salami (cut into strips)
  • 1/2 cup red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 6 ounces grated parmesan cheese (to taste) Adjust amount based on preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl or measuring cup, combine the olive oil, white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, oregano, black pepper, and sea salt. Whisk until fully blended, then set aside.
  2. Chop the romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and red onion into bite-sized pieces.
Assembly
  1. In a large mixing or serving bowl, add the chopped lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced olives, pepperoncinis, salami strips, and red onion.
  2. Pour the prepared dressing over the salad, and toss everything together until the vegetables are evenly coated.
  3. Taste your salad and feel free to add more parmesan cheese or dressing as per your preference.
