  • 1 pinch Baking soda Just a tiny bit to help the cake rise.
  • 1 pinch Sea salt Balances sweetness.
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sugar-free chocolate chips (optional) For a chocolatey treat.

Preparation
  1. Grab a microwave-safe mug.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: almond flour, sweetener, baking soda, and sea salt in the mug.
  3. Add the wet ingredients: melted butter (or ghee/coconut oil) and egg yolk. Stir until well combined.
  4. If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Microwave on high for 45 to 60 seconds, depending on your preferred texture.
  6. Let it cool for a few moments before enjoying.
Baking Option
  1. Pour the batter into an oven-safe ramekin and bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
