Ingredients

For the Chicken Tenders
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably seasoned)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 pieces eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • as needed cups cooking oil for frying

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: mix flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the first bowl; pour beaten eggs in the second bowl; and spread breadcrumbs in the third bowl.
Breading and Frying
  1. Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture, then into the eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.
  2. Carefully place the breaded chicken strips into the hot oil without overcrowding the pan. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the cooked tenders and let them drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For variations, consider adding cayenne pepper to the flour for a spicy kick or using crushed cornflakes for a different texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
