  1. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic, sautéing until they soften (about 3-5 minutes).
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in the tomato sauce and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve over cooked pasta or rice, or use as a filling for tacos or stuffed peppers. Top with cheese if desired.
