  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste Adjust based on heat preference.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • to garnish Fresh cilantro or parsley

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix harissa paste, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Coat the chicken thighs with the harissa mixture, ensuring they are evenly covered.
  4. Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  2. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley before serving.

Notes

For a milder taste, mix harissa paste with yogurt before marinating. Marinate longer for deeper flavors. Can substitute chicken with fish or tofu and add veggies to the baking sheet. Serve alongside couscous or a cooling dip like tzatziki for a complete meal.
