Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined, being careful not to overwork the mixture.
  2. Form the mixture into patties, keeping them about 1/2 inch thick for even cooking.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
Cooking
  1. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  2. While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
Assembly
  1. Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patties on the toasted buns. Top with lettuce, slices of tomato, and any other desired toppings.
  2. Serve immediately for the best flavor.
