  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 cup of choice of vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, carrots, peas)

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked, draining any excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, dried oregano, and any optional vegetables you are using, mixing everything well to combine.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste, allowing the flavors to meld together beautifully.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Serve over your choice of cooked rice or pasta, if desired, and enjoy your hearty meal.

Notes

For variations, consider adding chili powder for spice, using seasonal vegetables, or making it a casserole by topping with cheese and breadcrumbs before baking.
