  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully browned, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent, approximately 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well and bring to a boil over high heat.
  4. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
  5. If using pasta, cook it according to package directions while the beef mixture simmers. Drain, then combine with the beef mixture.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
