Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Grease and line a round cake pan (23 cm).
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler, stirring until well combined.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk to the melted chocolate and mix thoroughly. Pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, testing with a toothpick; it should come out clean. Once baked, let the cake cool completely in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack.
Creating the Glaze
- Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5 minutes, then dissolve them in a small saucepan with 2-3 tablespoons of water over low heat.
- Combine the melted chocolate with the dissolved gelatin and add food coloring to achieve your desired color, stirring well.
Final Assembly
- Place the cooled cake on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Slowly pour the glaze over the top, ensuring even coverage.
- Allow the glaze to set before serving the cake.

For a multicolored galaxy effect, blend vibrant blues, purples, and blacks in your food coloring. Serve with fresh berries for a refreshing contrast.
