  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes Include juices.
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder Adjust for spiciness preference.

Preparation
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat once cooked.
  2. Stir in the diced tomatoes (including juices) and drained kidney beans. Sprinkle the chili powder, along with salt and pepper, and mix well.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice or pasta, garnished with fresh herbs or cheese if desired.

Notes

For a spicier dish, consider adding cayenne pepper or jalapeƱos. For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with lentils or mushrooms.
