  • 1 cup 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, eggs, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until you achieve a smooth mixture.
  3. Gently fold in the chopped nuts and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust, ensuring it's level and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 50 to 60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden.
  2. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature for the best flavor. Enjoy with ice cream or whipped cream.
