  • 1 lb chicken breast Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables Feel free to substitute with other vegetables.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breast in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, frozen vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring the chicken is fully covered.
Cooking
  1. Set the crockpot to low and cook for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
  2. About 30 minutes before serving, take the biscuit dough, cut it into quarters, and add it to the crockpot, stirring gently to combine with the chicken and sauce.
  3. Cover and cook for the remaining time until the dumplings are fluffy and cooked through.
  4. Once everything is cooked, give it a good stir and serve hot.

Notes

To personalize the recipe, consider adding fresh herbs, different vegetables, or using different chicken cuts. Pair with a side salad or warm bread for a complete meal.
