  • 1 can diced tomatoes (with green chilies)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
For Serving
  • Taco shells Use any preferred taco shell.
  • Toppings such as cheese, lettuce, salsa, and avocado Customize to your liking.

Preparation
  1. Place chicken breasts in the crock pot in a single layer.
  2. Sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken.
  3. Add diced tomatoes and chicken broth.
Cooking
  1. Cover and set your crock pot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  2. Once cooked, remove the chicken and shred it using two forks.
  3. Mix the shredded chicken with some of the cooking liquid for added flavor.
Serving
  1. Fill taco shells generously with shredded chicken and top with desired garnishes.
