  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • 1/2 cup grapes, halved (optional) Adds sweetness to the salad.
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) Provides crunch; can use walnuts or almonds.
  • as needed lettuce leaves for serving (optional) Romaine or spinach makes a great base.

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, diced celery, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  2. If desired, fold in the halved grapes and chopped nuts.
  3. Serve the chicken mixture on top of lettuce leaves, or use it as a filling for your favorite bread or wrap.

Notes
