Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the beef from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil, then toss in the sliced bell peppers and onion.
- Stir-fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- Return the beef to the pan with the vegetables, mix well, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
For a more flavorful dish, marinate the beef longer or garnish with fresh herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
