  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably seasoned)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 each egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even cooking for your chicken nuggets.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Dredge each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, dip it in the beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the coated chicken pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
  5. Lightly spray or brush the chicken with oil to achieve that golden brown finish.
  6. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until the nuggets are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, BBQ sauce, or honey mustard.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings and swap breadcrumbs for crushed cornflakes or panko for extra crunch. Prepare ahead and freeze for later use. Reheat in air fryer for best results.
