Preparation
- Toast the nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until fragrant and lightly browned. Let cool and chop into bite-sized pieces.
- Wash and dice the apples into bite-sized chunks, leaving the skin on. Slice the grapes in half lengthwise. Toss the apples and grapes with lemon juice in a large mixing bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt until well combined. If needed, warm honey slightly in the microwave for easier drizzling.
- Pour the cinnamon-honey dressing over the fruit mixture and add the toasted nuts. Gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
Serving
- Serve immediately for crispy texture or chill in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours before serving. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and whole nuts if desired.
Notes
For a creamier version, stir in Greek yogurt. You can also add other seasonal fruits like blueberries or omit nuts for a nut-free version.
