Ingredients
  

Marinade
  • 500 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces Use boneless chicken for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour Helps to create a crispy texture.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar Provides tanginess to the marinade.
Cooking Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons oil For sautéing.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 2-3 pieces green chilies, slit Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • to taste Salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with cornflour, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix thoroughly and let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken. Cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes.
  2. Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add chopped onions, bell peppers, green chilies, minced garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. Add the cooked chicken back to the pan. Stir in the chili sauce and salt, mixing well. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve immediately.

Notes

For added crunch, consider adding cashews or peanuts during the sautéing stage. This dish can be easily paired with fried rice or noodles for a complete meal.
