Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with cornflour, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix thoroughly and let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken. Cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes.
- Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add chopped onions, bell peppers, green chilies, minced garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the pan. Stir in the chili sauce and salt, mixing well. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve immediately.
Notes
For added crunch, consider adding cashews or peanuts during the sautéing stage. This dish can be easily paired with fried rice or noodles for a complete meal.
