Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, uncooked rice, both soups, chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Baking
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Carefully remove the foil and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Serving
- Allow the casserole to sit for about 5 minutes before serving.
