  • 4 cups chicken broth Homemade or store-bought
  • 2 packs ramen noodles Any flavor
  • 2 pieces green onions, sliced For garnish
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic for best flavor
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Low sodium if preferred
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Adds a nutty flavor
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced Any variety, such as shiitake or button
  • 1 cup baby spinach Fresh spinach for nutrition
  • optional soft-boiled eggs For topping
  • optional chili flakes For added spice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add the sliced chicken breasts to the pot and cook until well browned on all sides, approximately 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, then bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.
  4. Once boiling, reduce the heat slightly and add the ramen noodles, cooking according to package instructions, usually 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. In the last few minutes of cooking, stir in the mushrooms and spinach until they wilt.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions. If desired, top with a soft-boiled egg and sprinkle chili flakes for an extra kick.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Customize with various toppings like sesame seeds, nori, or pickled vegetables. For vegetarian options, substitute chicken with tofu or a variety of vegetables.
