Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Crust
  • 1 prepared pie crust prepared pie crust
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly for a uniform filling.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and carefully cover it with another crust. Trim any excess, seal the edges, and cut a few slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  4. Brush the top of the pie with the beaten egg.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
  2. Allow the Chicken Pie to cool for a few minutes before serving.
