  • 1 bag Tortilla chips Use your preferred brand or style.
  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded Shredded rotisserie chicken works well.
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded Feel free to use a blend of cheeses.
  • 1 can Black beans, drained and rinsed Adds protein and fiber.
  • 1/2 cup Jalapeños, sliced Adjust to taste for spiciness.
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes Fresh or canned both work.
  • 1/2 cup Green onions, chopped For garnish.
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream For serving.
  • 1/2 cup Guacamole For serving.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a large baking sheet, spread out a layer of tortilla chips.
  3. Top the chips with shredded chicken, black beans, and diced tomatoes.
  4. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top and add jalapeños.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and top with green onions, sour cream, and guacamole.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container. For best results, keep components separate to avoid sogginess.
