  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Boneless, skinless
  • 2 cups fresh spinach Washed and dried
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook each side for about 6-7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream, add the grated Parmesan cheese and nutmeg, and stir to combine.
  7. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, coating them with the creamy sauce, and heat through for an additional 2 minutes.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan or fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

To make your Chicken Florentine even more delightful, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes, sun-dried tomatoes, or mushrooms. Substitute lighter cream options to reduce calories. This dish can be served with a light salad or fluffy rice and is perfect for both family-style or elegant dinners.
