Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces chicken fillets Boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup flour For breading
  • 2 pieces eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs For coating
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
  • as needed tablespoons Oil for frying Vegetable oil or olive oil

Method

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper to enhance the natural flavor.
  2. Set up a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.
  3. Dredge each fillet first in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the fillet.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  2. Fry the chicken fillets until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Monitor to prevent burning.
  3. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil and serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier alternative, consider baking the chicken fillets at 375°F for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway and using less oil. Customize flavor by adding spices to the flour or using different binding agents. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days or freeze for up to three months.
