- Place the chicken in a large pot and cover with water.

- Strain the broth through a fine mesh sieve to remove the solids.

- Store in the refrigerator or freeze for later use.
Notes
For a richer flavor, roast the chicken first before simmering. You can also add other vegetables like leeks or mushrooms for different flavor profiles.
