Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, and dried oregano until fully combined.
  2. Season the marinade with salt and pepper to your taste, mixing well to ensure even distribution.
  3. Place the chicken breasts into a resealable plastic bag or a shallow container with a lid.
  4. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring that each piece is thoroughly coated.
  5. Seal the bag or cover the container, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally up to 8 hours.
Cooking
  1. When ready to cook, remove the chicken from the marinade and discard any excess liquid.
  2. Grill, bake, or sauté the chicken until it’s cooked through and golden.

Notes

Try adding crushed red pepper flakes or fresh herbs for variations. Avoid marinating for more than 24 hours to prevent a mushy texture.
