Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

  3. Gradually combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until well mixed.
  4. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk and sprinkle with paprika. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Dredge the marinated chicken breasts in the flour mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
  3. Fry the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked, approximately 6-8 minutes per side.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the waffles according to package instructions or your favorite homemade recipe.
Serving
  1. Serve the crispy fried chicken on top of the waffles, drizzled with warm maple syrup.

For added flavor, consider variations like adding cayenne pepper to the flour or using different marinades for the chicken. Serve immediately for the best texture.
