  • 4 pieces chicken thighs or breasts Use bone-in for extra flavor.
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced Choose your favorite type.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Can substitute with vegetable broth.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Preparation
  1. Start by placing the diced potatoes and chopped onion at the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Season the chicken thighs or breasts with paprika, salt, and pepper, then place them on top of the potatoes.
  3. Sprinkle the minced garlic over the chicken and pour the chicken broth evenly over all the ingredients.
Cooking
  1. Cover your crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  2. Check for doneness; the chicken should be cooked through and tender, easy to shred with a fork.
Serving
  1. Once ready, serve the dish hot, garnished with fresh herbs.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite spices for a few hours before cooking. You can also add carrots, green beans, or bell peppers for additional nutrition.
