Pasta and Chicken
  • 8 oz spaghetti Cooked according to package instructions
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use leftover or rotisserie chicken for convenience
Cheesy Sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Divided for topping and mixture
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Standard size can
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
Flavorings
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For greasing the baking dish
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust seasoning to personal preference
  • to garnish Chopped parsley For freshness and color

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Gently fold in the cooked spaghetti and half of the cheddar cheese.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
Serving
  1. Once baked, garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For a creamier sauce, add an additional 1/2 cup of sour cream or cream cheese. Consider adding veggies like bell peppers or spinach for added nutrition. Substitute traditional spaghetti for gluten-free options as needed.
