  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken Can use leftover chicken
  • 1 cup broccoli florets Fresh or frozen
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Can be substituted with other cheeses
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Optional: bread crumbs for topping Adds crunch to the dish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, shredded chicken, broccoli, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. If desired, sprinkle bread crumbs on top for added texture.
Baking
  1. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Can be frozen for up to three months. Consider pairing with a salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
