Cooking
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Test the oil temperature by adding a small amount of flour; it should sizzle.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each piece in flour until fully coated.
- Fry the chicken in the hot oil for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked, ensuring an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, add hot sauce to the marinade or try baking the chicken at 400°F for 20-25 minutes for a healthier option. Serve with mashed potatoes, on a bun, or with a side salad.
