Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them in a baking dish.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken breasts and rub it in to ensure each piece is coated evenly.
- Generously sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme (or rosemary) over the chicken.
- Place lemon slices on top of the chicken.
Cooking
- Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mix and olive oil for a few hours or overnight. You can also add vegetables like carrots or potatoes for a complete meal.
