  • 2 pieces bone-in chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
  • 1 piece lemon (sliced)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them in a baking dish.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken breasts and rub it in to ensure each piece is coated evenly.
  4. Generously sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme (or rosemary) over the chicken.
  5. Place lemon slices on top of the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  2. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mix and olive oil for a few hours or overnight. You can also add vegetables like carrots or potatoes for a complete meal.
