- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the beef tips and brown them on all sides until they are golden brown.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the flour, allowing it to cook for about a minute.
- Gradually add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce while stirring continuously until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return the beef tips to the skillet, season with salt and pepper to taste, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Serve the beef and gravy hot over rice or mashed potatoes.

Allowing the beef tips to simmer enhances flavor. For storage, cool completely and store in an airtight container.
