  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Choose your favorite brand or homemade.
  • 12 pieces slider buns Use soft slider or mini burger buns.
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix Pre-packaged or homemade.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Adjust based on preference for creaminess.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning the coleslaw.
  • optional Pickles For garnish and extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the BBQ sauce until well-coated.
  2. In another bowl, mix the coleslaw with the mayonnaise and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Lightly toast the slider buns in a pan or oven for enhanced flavor.
Assembly
  1. Take the bottom half of each bun and place a generous amount of BBQ chicken on it.
  2. Top with the coleslaw mix and add pickles if desired.
  3. Complete the sliders by placing the top half of the buns on each and serve immediately.

Notes

For variations, consider adding jalapeƱos for spice, using alternative proteins like pulled pork, or drizzling honey for sweetness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
